- Shirdi Saibaba Prayer Center was formed by Saibaba devotees in and around the Twin Cities, Minnesota in the year 2002 with the objective of having a common place of Sri Saibaba's worship for Sai devotees. An apartment was rented for this purpose where Sri Saibaba's marble Idol was installed and regular worship and satsangs are being conducted. An organization was formed by the devotees, who took up various functions so that the Prayer Center became functional on continued basis, open everyday and devotees can have a place of Saibaba worship in Twin Cities, Minnesota without any interruption.
- Shirdi Saibaba Prayer Center was legally registered as a non-profit organization in the state of Minnesota and a Federal tax exempt status was obtained. Activities of the Prayer Center include performing Saibaba arathis, weekly satsangs, Prayer Club, Naama jap, participation in service programs such as volunteering at Salvation Army, serving meals to senior citizens via "Meals on Wheels", feeding programs in India, monetary donations to the needy, working with a local church in providing holiday gifts to the less privileged.
- In the summer of 2006, by the grace of Sri Saibaba and active participation of devotees, the Prayer Center acquired a building and renovated it into Sri Saibaba Mandir, Minneapolis. A life size marble Idol of Sri Saibaba has been brought from India for installation. Immediate plans include a ceremony to mark the occasion and bring in a priest to tend to the holy deity of Sri Saibaba and assist with the worship needs of growing devotee community.
